Boomer

The affectionate name of Boomer was given to an amnesiac Burrow Man by Rio Blast while he was in his custody. Over time, Boomer actually lived up to the nickname by becoming somewhat of an explosive's expert. Though as Boomer's memory loss was regained, he told Rio how he lost his memory in the first place and who he really was. Up to that point, Rio only knew that Boomer was a mind slave to the parasitic creature called a Crato-Mite and that like a lot of Burrow Men was used against his will to tunnel into the sacred Bone Circle Temples located in Chylorria in a place called the Valley of Resting Bones. The Bone Circle Temples preserved records of fossils and carbon data as well as genetic material. The cold hills surrounding the Valley of Resting Bones was a hard place to traverse. Though for a Burrow Man, they were made for digging and that's what the varmot Beezos was enslaving them for. Beezo's had stolen hundreds of genetic materials from the Bone Circle Temples up to that point.

Boomers real name was Feeze and he was trying to find out about his missing older brother Fozzle, who had not returned back from a labor expedition nearby the Plains of Perpetua. In fact, every so often when one of these expeditions would be looking for hired Burrow help one was liable to not return. So, Feeze decided to secretly follow one of these expeditions after they came by for another round of recruitments. The excuse given by the recruiters was often that the work was dangerous, but Feeze didn't by it.

Feeze followed the land vehicle carrying his Burrow brothers all the way from his home in the desert land of Roshambo to the Rakash coast in the Kingdom of Rondale.

Feeze had always known that the recruiters were from Rondale, but he hadn't ever suspected that they were Pirates as well. The leader of the Rondale recruiters went by the name of Bug-Eye, perhaps because the only things appearing from underneath his orange turban were his two bulging blood red eyes. The captain of the Pirate ship was called Blade an Eternian outlaw with a patch over his right eye.

The Kingdom of Rondale was not a vassal state of Eternos and as long it peacefully co-existed with the small city of Aradan was allowed certain leeway's. So, being a safe haven to Pirates may have been overlooked at times.

Feeze was able to sneak aboard the Pirates ship but was soon captured after he was discovered during the head count. After all of his fellow Burrow Men were shown their quarters for the night, Feeze was confronted by Blade, some Rondale pirates as well as Targan Pirates and Bug-Eye who threw what appeared to be a small humanoid insect at him! Feeze soon found his mind numbed by the compact, muscular creature as its leapt onto Feezes back. Where the strong vice like mandibles of the Crano-Mite locked onto the mind of Feeze. Draining him of all his will. This was the last thing that Fleeze remembered after his capture aboard the Pirate ship. At some point Feeze was turned over to Beezos, where he was used to tunnel into the Bone Circle Temple, in order to steal whatever Beezos required at the time.

Rio Blast eventually deputized Feeze after he helped to uncover the Beezos operation in the Valley of Resting Bones. Additionally, Feeze helped to stop another criminal called Spikor who had turned Burrowers into essentially Zombies in order to steal Tundranium from Ice Dwarves mines in the Ice Mountains.

A heartbroken Feeze found his brother Fozzle essentially dead having been turned into one of Spikors enslaved Tundranium smugglers. Fozzle had sunken in dead eyes, walked on all fours and his exterior plated hide was covered with black spikes. The older Fozzle had no recognition of who he was or further, who his brother Feeze was. The distraught Feeze left his older brother Fozzle to be buried under mountains of rock that he had to detonate in order o seal up the corridor that Spikor was using to smuggle the Tundranium.

In the aftermath of his harrowing feats, Boomer as Feeze now liked to be called was exonerated of all his crimes in an Eternian court in the outpost Rio dubbed Loredo.

Often times, Boomer is the conscious of Rio Blast, reminding his sometimes-trigger-happy ally to dig just a little deeper for the truth. As was done when they first met from across the divide, when Boomer was the accused and Rio was the jury. Eventually, Rio listened to Boomer's story and allowed for his redemption as he was overall the victim many times over. A decision that Rio Blast has never once lived to regret.

Boomer is a strong advocate for his Burrowers of the desert lands of Roshambo. For as one of them, he's lived the hardships of them. Boomer vowed once serving with Rio Blast for Eternia to provide his burrow brothers the protection from ever being used as slaves again.

As a Burrow Man, Boomer is as massively strong as he is large. His body is a yellowish brown with plated darker brown plates covering his front, back, forearms and legs. This plated padding is very resilient to physical force. A Burrow's plates were made to protect against the harsh winds and heat of the desert. They don't crack easily under pressure from the sun or underneath the ground.

On the hands of Boomer are four long claws, used for digging. These claws which are backed by the muscle in Boomers arms and legs can dig enormous sized holes in the matter of minutes. All Burrow Men are great diggers and Boomer is no exception.

Boomer has also been trained by Rio Blast in the use of explosives. In battle, Boomer can use the explosive devices adorned on his belts along his waste and across his chest. Boomer has been known to leave timed explosives as booby traps for oncoming vehicles. Some of Boomer's bombs can be remotely detonated from aa trigger like handheld device that he carries. Boomer can seal off his tunnel rout with a bomb to block anyone from following him or make an opening that he couldn't normally dig through. Typically, Boomer likes to Suprise opponents by popping up from the ground and hurling a grenade at them. Often, Rio Blast provides the frontal assault while Boomer takes up the rear of the enemy.
