Crano-Mite
Created by Beezos with learned technology that he obtained from an extra-terrestrial being the Crano-Mite is a parasitic mind-stealing creature.
The small but powerful Crano-Mite was first created by Beezos in his ambitious scheme to plunder the Valley of Resting Bones deep within the Chylorrian hillside for the Preternian genetic material that was stored there. Upon making a deal with the weapons forger Spikor to gift him mind wiped Burrow Men for his mining operations. Beezos in effect created a slave trade of Ambrosia addicted Burrow Men and Chylorrians, where every so often he would feed to his Crano-Mite creations.
Beezos followed up his creation of the Crano-Mite with the Para-Saur a flying pterodactyl like creature with one periscopic eye. The two creatures complimented each other very well and were the driving force behind Beezos stealthy theft of the Chylorrian hillside.
The single minded Crano-Mite is probably the most aggressive of Beezos genetically mutated creatures. This is because the Crano-Mite is a parasite and must feed off of the mental energy of its host. In order to accomplish this the Crano-Mite usually jumps or falls onto the back of its unsuspecting victim. It just depends on how energized the Crano-Mite is themselves. Often times a Crano-Mite will employ a steady feeding. Whereby the Crano-Mite remains attached by its powerful mandible jaws to the back of its victim's head. Where over time it will suck the brain energy of its host. Until it no longer can. This is the best way for the Crano-Mite to feed because the feeding is prolonged and nourishing. When the Para-Saur works alongside the Crano-Mite, the parasite can be dropped from the air onto its victim after they are spotted. A Cran0-Mite can have two or more hosts, but they usually have to store them somewhere while they seek out more mind meals. This is seldom done as it uses up a lot of energy and time. Also, the activity of the Crano-Mite could lead to it being discovered.
A well fed Crano-Mite is a dangerous one as all the mental energy that they feed upon is absorbed and then transformed into physical power. The suffix after the word Crano in the name has two literal meanings. First, Crano-Mites are smallish in stature but are well muscled. They appear as miniature hulk bugs because of their body is buff while their facial features are insect-like. Crano-Mites at their weakest are still very powerful. This is because they have an adrenal gland which keeps them going between meals. They can even hang atop branches and stalagmites by their mandibles for extended periods in a kind of stasis until a meal comes along. The word might should be the Crano-Mite's nickname after they are charged after draining a meal. That is when one lone Crano-Mite can move boulders and topple trees at around 4 feet tall.
Though make no mistake about it. The Crano-Mite must feed on the brains of others or perish. Upon death, the Crano-Mites bright yellow skin becomes a translucent white.
